Travel nursing does offer a viable alternative to just moving and taking a staff position. However, if the move is longer than 13 weeks (the typical duration for a travel assignment), you might have concerns if the hospital does not wish to renew your contract at the end of the thirteen weeks.Children do present an issue when traveling, but it does not negate the possibility of travel nursing.The Internet is a great resource for this, but it’s hard to know what options you are looking at until you have an idea of how long you might be in the area and exactly where your assignment is going to be.
