| Since our inception, our "edge" has been our attitude
toward our people and our clients. We are not huge, and that is on
purpose. We have very much lived on referrals and our reputation. During
the decline of the rehab market in 1998 and 1999, we have been able to
continue in business, retaining therapists and clients. Many of our
competitors and clients alike have not survived during this time. We did it
by doing exactly what our literature says we do; staying flexible, "Karing"
for people, and always looking for the win-win outcome. We are now
applying that same attitude toward staffing nurses, pharmacists, and other
allied health professionals. We remain "so exited about the future, we can
hardly stand it". Here's a synopsis from our literature.
We're unique and we believe you'll enjoy doing business with us. ...
clients and employees are very much a part of the "family". We know you'll
like the difference! We would like it if you could feel
that TheraKare operates like the following...
"Push us. Make us invent something for you that neither of us could
imagine. You be the potter. Sure, we've got some expert knowledge. But that
knowledge is the clay. Lead us to form it in a new configuration."
From "Liberation Management" by Tom Peters.
We maintain a clear vision,
philosophy and set of
values
as guiding principles:
Vision: To
offer responsive, creative services through: personal relationships with
internal and external customers; an environment of open communications,
service excellence and "can-do" attitudes; a corporate culture of
entrepreneuring and family spirit; and recognition and celebration of team
and individual successes; all at a profit.
Philosophy:
TheraKare is a company that "Kares". We "take care of" and "care
for" our employees and our clients. The atmosphere when you are a part of
TheraKare as an employee or client is "family". We enjoy life, each
other, and providing the service we have to offer. Because we care, we
will always be honest with you and each other. We will always
respond quickly even if it is "I don’t know" or "NO". We will listen,
be fair and do our best to help us both create a win- win scenario.
To do so, we will be creative, and flexible; not locked into
a set ways to do things. We will meet competition head on, but never
unfair or "underhanded". We will strive to develop a personal
relationship with all business contacts.
Our Values: Caring, Flexibility, Quality, Personal,
Honesty/Integrity, Constructive Conflict and Profitability.
