Nursing Talent

This page is intended to be a summary of some of our talented nurses who are more readily available than the 6000+ in our database, not to mention the paid web sites.  If (when) this becomes huge, we may make it searchable, but for now, you can peruse for nurses that may match a need you have.  If you've looked at our sample agreements, there is always a buy-out option for contracted candidates.  If interested, contact us;  we can send a complete resume and fill in any details.   Also, if you find any broken links or information that seems out of date, please let us know at info@travelkare.com.  Thanks very much.

Cheryl - Hails from Mississippi and has been with TravelKare since 8/28/00, works in Critical Care, Telemetry, ER, Med/Surg, and L&D. Most recent assignments have been in Alaska.

Jim - Comes to us from Michigan. He was a recent grad, but a couple years experience in the medical field which helped us secure an assignment with 6 mos. nursing experience. He works in ER and loves Las Vegas. He's been with us since 1/01.

Remar - He's not only an excellent nurse, he's got a degree in Radiologic Technology. Remar's from Georgia, currently in Alaska on assignment in an ER Department and has been with us since 1/01.

Tara - We've only had Tara with TravelKare since 7/01, but she's doing an extremely good job at her assignment in Las Vegas. She's a recent grad with several years expereince in the medical arena, and comes from Alabama.

Peggy - North Carolina used to be where she called home! Now she's a "road warrior"! Peggy works in the ER and has worked for TravelKare since 1/01. Her current assignment is in Maine. We're anxious to see where she wants to go next!

Glenda - This Georgia nurse has been with us since 6/00 and works in Med/Surg. Glenda has over 20 years experience in nursing, and more than that in "common sense"! She's a very hard worker.

Randy - Glenda (above) has raised this young man right! Not only is he a terrific ER/ICU nurse (he's also a Respiratory Therapist), he is a kind and polite gentleman. He started with us in November of 2000, leaving a health care system he'd been with in one capacity or another since 1989!

Sonia - She started 6/01 with an assignment in CA doing Telemetry, leaving her Alabama home for awhile. She can work in Med/Surg too and will probably be closer to home with her next assignment.

Kimberlee - Another Georgian, who has been working with TravelKare since 11/00 on various assignments. Her most recent was in Atlanta in the ICU. She's the type of nurse you'd want your loved ones to have by their side in a critical situation.

Vicki - She started 01/01 with us after leaving a position she's had since 1988. She's an excellent ICU nurse and also a Legal Nurse Consultant. Vicki just returned from Alaska, with many pictures and stories to tell.

Kathy, RN - Has been with TravelKare since 8/8/01 - currently working a travel assignment at Kindrid Hospital, Louisville, KY, in Med-Surg. Kathy has been a nurse for 6 and a half yrs, and her experience includes Med-Surg, Neurology, Renal, Rehab., Supervision, and Charge duties. Kathy and her 14 year old son live in Livermore, KY., and she plans to continue to travel with TravelKare.

Sue, RN - Will start a travel assignment at Eastern NM Medical Center in Roswell, NM on 8/27/01 as a Pediatric staff nurse. Sue has been a nurse since 1997, and her experience includes staff, managerial, and Case Management. Sue resides in Anthony, NM, which is about 15 miles north of El Paso, TX. This is her first travel assignment, and she is anxious to start.

Nancy, RN - Will begin a travel to possible permanent assignment in White Plains, NY on 9/4/01. Nancy and her family currently live in Bangor, ME, and they're in the process of moving relocating now. Her husband has been working in New York, so the family is happy to be together again. Nancy has been a nurse for 25 years, and her experience includes Med-Surg, Dialysis, Oncology, OB, Critical/Intensive Care, Supervision, Charge, and House Supervisor duties.

Lorri, RN- Lorri is brand new to TravelKare and is most excited about her first travel assignment to St. James Community Hospital in Butte, MT as an OR Circulator.  She has concentrated her nursing experience in surgery since 1982.  She and her faithful companion "Smokey the cat" reside in Columbia, MO.  Travel nursing is something that Lorri has always dreamed of doing and is thrilled to be planning her many upcoming assignments in states that she has always wanted to visit.  Currently, we are busy planning her next assignment in Hawaii.
